  • The full list

Every casino we could establish accepts players from Canada

Not a top ten and not a ranking: the whole list of the brands that open accounts to Canadians, each with the authority that licensed it, the number on the register and the company behind the name. The order is the authority and then the alphabet.

Ad disclosure: the operator links on this page are affiliate links, and we are paid when a reader opens an account. It does not change which operators are listed, and it does not change the order, which is by licensing authority and then alphabetical. We publish no ratings and no bonus amounts. 19+.

Why a complete list is worth more than a ranking of ten names

A "comparison page" is nearly always built by subtraction, and the subtraction is the part nobody shows: somebody assembles the brands available to him, cuts the list to the length a reader will scroll (ten rows, in most cases), and then sorts the survivors into an order the page afterwards has to justify. The names that fall out of the bottom leave no trace at all, so that you cannot tell whether a brand is absent because it is poor, because its paperwork was awkward to describe, or because nobody was paid to keep it in (the third reason being the commonest and the least visible).

This page is assembled in the opposite direction, which is slower to read and harder to argue with. It carries every brand we could establish will open an account to somebody resident in Canada (sixty-one names as this page goes up), and we print what the registers say about each of them (the authority, the number, the company) whether the entry flatters the operator or embarrasses him.

The rule is short. An "index" that drops its awkward rows has stopped being an index and become a shop window; the difference between the two shows up precisely in the rows a shop window would never carry.

The shape costs the reader something, and the cost is worth naming before the table arrives rather than in a note after it! A list of this length cannot be read as a recommendation, since it plainly is not one, and what it offers instead is the thing a "top ten" removes: the ability to see which brands exist in this market and to compare the "regulatory frame" of one against another without anybody having pre-sorted them for you.

The objection, and the narrow answer we can actually prove

The objection to a page like this one is the obvious one and it deserves the second section rather than a line in the footer. The links here are paid ("affiliate" links, marked "sponsored" in the markup), which creates a direct interest in your opening an account, and a page that calls itself an index while being paid per registration ought to be read with the suspicion that arrangement earns.

Our answer is deliberately narrow, because a wide answer would be a promise and a narrow one can be tested. The thing a payment could plausibly distort is the order, so the order has been taken out of our hands altogether: the licensing authority first and the alphabet second, applied to data that sits on public registers.

A reader who distrusts the arrangement can rebuild that sequence in an afternoon (the two provincial registers and the two verification tools are linked from every card) and will find it unchanged.

What the money does reach, and we would rather write it here than have you discover it later, is the question of which brands came under examination at all. A programme without an account is a programme whose "link sheet" nobody here has ever seen, and three of these rows exist only because a competitor listed the brand and somebody went to read the register. The index is as wide as our commercial reach, and that reach is the real limit of the page.

How to read the licence column, which is the only one that matters

Four authorities account for almost every row in the table below, and a reader who learns to tell them apart (there are four of them, and they are not interchangeable) has learned most of what this page has to teach about "licensing". The Alderney Gambling Control Commission issues a "category 1" licence to the operating company (here Baytree (Alderney) Limited, which holds the Palace and Spin brands) and publishes its holders in a list anybody can open, which we read for every row in the table; the Malta Gaming Authority issues numbers in the form MGA/CRP (MGA/CRP/130/2006 for Betway Limited, MGA/CRP/258/2014 for Videoslots Limited), and its "verification" tool returns the company and the domains that each number actually covers.

The third is the one that needs a sentence of its own, because the word it uses is not the word the others use. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission issues a "permit" rather than a licence, from a territory inside Québec (Kahnawake, on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence) whose authority to license gambling neither Canada nor Québec accepts, because the Criminal Code gives that power to the provinces and the Mohawk Council's challenge to iGaming Ontario was dismissed by the Superior Court in 2024. A permit of that kind is a real document, and it is not a provincial licence.

The fourth case is the provinces themselves, where the question changes shape entirely. An operator registered by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario or by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis has accepted that province's "advertising standards", its centralised "self-exclusion" system and its complaints route.

The registration itself sits in a register the province publishes (igamingontario.ca for one, abigaming.ca for the other) rather than in a footer the operator writes about himself.

Whichever of the four you are looking at, the check runs the same way, and that is the whole reason for printing numbers. A number on this page can be typed into the authority's own search and either comes back with the company named beside it or does not; nothing in the licence column asks to be believed, which is precisely what a "rating" out of five cannot say about itself.

The brands that come in pairs, and why the register name differs

A Canadian reader runs into a confusion that readers in most other markets are spared, and the table makes it visible with a badge rather than a footnote. Several names in this index exist twice over, once as an international site and once as a "provincially registered" one, and the two are separate companies holding separate licences with separate complaint routes behind an identical logo and a near-identical "lobby".

Jackpot City is the clearest instance of the pattern. The international brand sits with Baytree (Alderney) Limited, while the Ontario brand is registered to Cadtree Limited and appears in the iGaming Ontario directory (forty-nine companies and eighty-four "gaming sites" in the listing published on the first of September 2026).

The same group appears a third time in the Alberta register, counted one entry at a time on the twenty-first of October 2026 because that page publishes no total of its own, and the count came to fifty-one.

The consequences of the pattern are practical rather than legal (nobody is doing anything wrong), and they are the kind a reader discovers at the worst possible moment. An account at one of the pair is not an account at the other, a self-exclusion registered with one does not reach the other, and somebody who moves from Toronto to Halifax may find his balance sitting with an entity that no longer serves the province he lives in ("Rest of Canada" in the trade, which is a commercial term and not a legal one). Five brands in this index carry a provincial site, and the badge on each card is there so that nobody has to guess which five.

The rows in this table that we would not click ourselves

An index that prints everything has to print the entries it finds uncomfortable, and three groups of rows here are uncomfortable for three unrelated reasons that a reader should be able to tell apart.

The first group is a missing document rather than a bad one (an absence, not a failing). One brand in the table carries no link at all, because the asset register behind this site records "no recognised licence" for it and the regulatory column would therefore be blank, and the name is printed without a link so that a reader hunting for it finds the absence written down instead of finding nothing.

The second group is a matter of which jurisdiction answers the telephone when something goes wrong (and they do not all answer). A handful of rows show Kahnawake as the only authority we could read, and a reader who wants a licence his own province recognises should stop at that line and go no further. The "permit" is real, and it is not the document he is looking for.

The third group is a regulator's letter, and we keep it here even though it comes from another market entirely (Michigan, where none of our readers live). Three of the offshore brands in this table received a "cease-and-desist" notice from the Michigan Gaming Control Board on the fourteenth of August 2025, concerning players in Michigan rather than players in Canada, and it is printed because an act of a regulator is a fact about an operator wherever it was issued.

A reader who takes nothing else from this page can take the habit of reading the regulatory line before the "lobby", and it costs him about four seconds!

What we read to build the table, and what it leaves blank

Every cell in the table comes from one of three places, and the places are worth knowing because they are of unequal strength. The licence, the company and the number come from an authority's own register or from the operator's published "terms and conditions"; the "platform" comes from the technical description in our own asset files (the weakest of the three sources, and we say so); and the destination of each link comes from the programme link sheet of the fourteenth of October 2026, where the type of page a link opens can be read in the address itself without trusting anybody's description of it.

What the table carries nothing about is the experience of playing at these casinos, and the omission is not an oversight. We hold no accounts at any of them, so there is no withdrawal time measured here, no "support" response measured here and no verdict on a "cashier" none of us has logged into. Wherever a figure of that sort appears on this site, the party who published it is named in the same sentence (the operator, the programme, or a regulator).

The blanks, then, are deliberate and they are marked as blanks. A reader who wants to know which currency a brand on the Games Global platform actually settles in will find that we could not read it, because those sites answer a request from outside Canada with a refusal (an "HTTP 403", which is a server declining a region rather than a site being down), and a gap that says so is worth more to you than a plausible sentence written to fill it. The last column of the table is where those additions sit, one line each, in the words of whoever established them and with the date attached.

Every casino we could establish accepts players from Canada: 56 brands, of which 55 carry a link. A name is clickable when we hold a tracked link for it, which means a commercial relationship and nothing else: it is not a ranking, and it says nothing about which casino is better. A name without a link is one we list because a reader looking for it deserves to find the licence we could read, and we were not willing to send him there. The order is alphabetical.

    Questions readers ask

Why is the list not ordered from best to worst?

Because an order from best to worst needs a measurement of "best", and the only measurements available to a site that has not opened an account at sixty casinos are the ones the casinos publish about themselves. The order here is the licensing authority and then the alphabet, which is a rule that produces the same list in anybody's hands.

What does a row without a link mean?

That we hold no tracked address for that brand, usually because there is no commercial relationship, and in one case because we could not establish any licence to put in the regulatory column. A row without a link is still worth printing, since a reader searching for that name deserves to find what the registers say about it.

Does a longer list mean lower standards?

The opposite, as far as the licence column goes: a list of ten can be assembled by dropping every brand whose paperwork is awkward to describe, while a list of sixty has to describe the awkward ones. The brands with the weakest regulatory frame on this page are the ones a short list would simply have omitted.

How often does the list change?

The two provincial registers move on their own schedule, and we reread them when we publish; the rest changes when a programme opens or closes a brand, which happened three times in the week before this page went up. Every date in the table is the date of our reading and not the date of the source.
