How to reach us, and what we can actually do
Where to write, what we can help with, and the three things we cannot do because we are a publisher rather than a casino.
Where to write
Correspondence reaches us at [OWNER: indirizzo di posta elettronica]. The publisher of this site is [OWNER: ragione sociale, indirizzo, paese], and the same details appear in the privacy policy, together with the person responsible for personal information, which Québec's Law 25 requires a publisher to name.
A "message" that names the page and quotes the sentence gets a useful answer faster than one that does not (the page gets opened and read), and a "correction" with a source attached gets acted on rather than filed; this site reads everything that arrives and answers in the order it arrives, in English or in French!
What we can help with
Three kinds of message are genuinely useful to this site, and they are worth distinguishing from one another. The first is a "correction", where a "licence number", a register entry, an age or a payment method has changed or was wrong when the page was written. The second is a "gap", where an operator that accepts Canadian players is missing from the index and you can say where its licence is published.
The third is a question about something the site has explained badly, which usually means the page needs rewriting rather than the reader needs an email. Operators and "affiliate" managers can write about a tracker, a "landing page" or a licence detail, and should expect this site to check the "register" (a list a public authority keeps and publishes) rather than the message.
A link this site cannot verify does not go into a page (not even with a note beside it), and a licence this site cannot find on an authority's own site is recorded as one this site could not establish (the words are the same on every card).
What we cannot do
This site is a publisher, and the limits that come with that are worth stating plainly rather than leaving a reader to discover them, and they are not negotiable. This site has no access to any gaming account, so this site cannot check a balance, chase a withdrawal, lift a "verification" (the documents a licence obliges an operator to collect) hold or reopen an account that an operator has closed.
A dispute belongs first to the operator's own process (its own complaints desk, with its own clock) and then to the authority that licensed it, and the card for that operator on this site names the authority for exactly this moment (which is why the number is there). Where that authority has a thin record of player redress, this site says so on the card, and that is worth knowing before a deposit rather than after one.
We also cannot advise anybody on tax, on a particular bonus term or on whether to play, and the reason is the same in all three cases: an answer that matters to a reader's money should come from somebody who is accountable for it.
The page here on tax sets out a framework and tells you to take it to an accountant; the pages here on offers explain how a "wagering requirement" (the turnover a balance has to reach before it can leave) works and carry a calculator that does the arithmetic in the reader's own browser, and neither is a recommendation.
If the problem is the playing rather than the casino
One kind of message deserves a different answer, and this site would rather put it here than in a footer, because a reader writing in because the gambling itself has stopped being something he controls does not need us.
The people he needs are funded by his own province: ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600 in Ontario, GameSense on 1-833-447-7523 in Alberta, Jeu : aide et référence on 1 800 461-0140 in Québec. The suicide Crisis Helpline on 9-8-8 anywhere in the country. Those services are free, they are confidential, and they answer whether or not a person has decided to stop, and our responsible gambling page carries the full list by province and the "self-exclusion" routes (the provincial programmes that lock an account on request) alongside them.
Questions readers ask
Can you help me with a problem on my casino account?
No, and it is worth being blunt about it: we have no access to any operator's systems, we cannot see a balance, release a withdrawal or reopen a closed account. A dispute goes first to the operator's own complaints process and then to the authority named on its licence, which is the authority our card for that operator records.
Will you correct a mistake if I report one?
Yes, and a report with the page and the detail attached is the most useful message we receive. Licence numbers change, registers are revised and payment methods are withdrawn, and a reader who uses an operator is likely to see one of those before we do.
Do you accept guest articles or link requests?
No. We publish nothing written by anybody with an interest in a casino being listed, we sell no placements in our pages, and the order of every list is the licensing authority and then the alphabet; an operator that wants to appear in the index needs a licence we can read and a link we can verify.
